Samata is the Chief Executive Officer of Black Pearl an organisation she founded over a year ago.
Samata is championing cultural sustainability through various services from collaborative activations, story-telling, educational resources and advisory. Samata partners with educational institutions such as Yale School of Environment, Cambridge University Sustainability Leadership, ESMOD Paris and more to embed cultural sustainability in curriculums. She led Red Carpet Green Dress™ (RCGD Global) a women-led organisation bringing sustainability to the forefront of the fashion and apparel industry. She is one of Vogue Business’ 100 Innovators List in the category of ‘Champions of Change’.
Recognition is given to Samata for pioneering the inclusion of cultural sustainability in dialogue and action.
