Aurora is the Creative Director at Brother Vellies a lifestyle and accessories brand she founded nearly and Founder of Fifteen Percent Pledge.
Aurora’s products use vegetable-tanned leathers, soling from recycled tyres, hand-carved wood, and floral-dyed feathers. She also founded the Non-profit 15 Percent Pledge as a call to action for major retailers to commit 15% of their shelf space to Black-owned businesses.
Recognition is given to Aurora for building a brand rooted in sustainability and social impact and for her activism to level the playing field for Black-owned businesses in retail.
